We are the White family - just a regular family living on a 12 acre hobby farm in East Tennessee. We love Jesus, Friday family movie nights, the beach, homemade pizza, traveling to new places, puzzles, Disney World, being together, and animals (especially dogs!). We homeschool our kids and work remote, in addition to taking care of our animals and land.

We brought home our first Bernese Mountain Dog (BMD) in 2020 after years of admiring them from afar. Having just moved onto our land, we had a need for a livestock guardian dog, so we seized the opportunity to find a Berner to add to our crew. We searched and found a family, much like ourselves, who were breeding dogs on their hobby farm. A few weeks later, we met Gus and fell in love immediately. He was a giant furry baby who just wanted to sleep, sleep, sleep. As he grew, we watched as his natural instincts and temperament came shining through. We were pretty sure we found the perfect dog! He was calm (lazy!), patient, independent, smart, loyal, happy and a lover of people. He took his jobs seriously - perching at the top of our hill to watch over the children as they played and making his daily rounds on the property with a booming bark at the ready for any fox or coyote that might be lurking nearby. He was just what we needed and wanted in a dog, the perfect addition to our home and family.

With plenty of land, a newfound love for the breed, and mentors who had been breeding dogs for 20+ years we embarked on an unexpected journey to become responsible breeders ourselves. Today we feel so lucky to be able to raise our pups together as a family on our sprawling property. And what a gift to share the joy and love for these dogs with others!
